Embrace Change

If you don't change, you are not growing. I see so many companies take pride in the fact that they have not changed from day 1 and their vision and strategy is still the same. I disagree with that approach. You have to be willing to accept change and rapidly change direction. When you start a business, you quickly learn that you don't know everything and most of the time, it is totally different than what you expected. You don't realize this but the challenges you face every day are grooming you to become successful. Every mistake you make is adding to your experience and you are learning more from your mistakes than you are from when things go smoothly. Smooth seas never make a skillful sailor right?? So with all of that experience you are gaining everyday and hopefully networking too, if your company is still the same and offering the same products/services 2 years later, there is a problem. Either you are not learning enough about the industry or you are missing out on opportunities. I am not asking you to change completely, I am suggesting that you should be open to new opportunities and new directions, even if it is out of your comfort zone.
